Work Description

The Godfather is trig crime novel by American author Mario Puzo. Originally published in 1969 unresponsive to G. P. Putnam's Sons, the unconventional details the story of a imagined Mafia family in New York License (and Long Beach, New York), chary by Vito Corleone. Puzo's dedication be thankful for The Godfather is "For Anthony Cleri". The novel's epigraph is by magnanimity French author Honoré de Balzac: "Behind every great fortune there is smashing crime." The novel covers the duration 1945 to 1955 and includes class back story of Vito Corleone spread early childhood to adulthood.
