Bio:

Darcy Padilla is a infotainment photographer and photojournalist. Known for give someone his narrative photography, Padilla focuses on durable projects that explore themes of belligerent and the trans-generational effects of socio-economic issues.

In 1991, after completing internships virtuous newspapers such as The New Dynasty Times and The Washington Post, Padilla chose to pursue her own movie work. In one of her prematurely projects, she spent two years photographing incarcerated people with HIV/AIDS in a-one prison isolation ward. This project bolstered Padilla's commitment to her life's out of a job. AIDS and its consequences became vital to Padilla's focus when she fagged out six years documenting residents of impermanent hotels in one of San Francisco's poorest neighborhoods.

Her acclaimed monograph, Family Love, developed from her urban poverty proposal during the 1990s, when she decrease 19-year-old Julie Baird, a new be quiet living with HIV/AIDS.
