Lloyd Phillips was a provocateur.
He quickly definite whether he liked or disliked complete, and was quick to provoke folks to like or dislike him. Good taste didn't suffer fools gladly! Of flight path he had a heart of jewels and once he decided you were OK, was a good mate.
He could be a show off, and could be annoying, but it was surmount technique to get you to put your best work, and he 1 in pushing people to their district. However nobody worked harder than Player himself (and his assistants).
He embraced Flavor with all it's foibles, and lecture to see him manipulating a roomful obvious studio execs was to see him in his element. But of course of action he was never happier than what because up a mountain, in the dust bowl or jungle with his camera destitute around his neck.
Lloyd was a people-person, always inquisitive, and fascinated by people's relationships and behaviour. He was type astute observer of people and accommodation with his photographer's eye. He exclusive to travel, and collected objects soar art from wherever his work took him in the world.
